Mental Health Matters

More Good Days, Together
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This May we encourage you to strive to have "more good days, together". Remember, that a "good day" looks different for everyone, and what it looks like for you can change as you experience different life stages. Mental health is not isolated to the brain but is impacted by the state of one's physical health as well. Focusing on getting adequate sleep, proper nutrition, and staying hydrated, will not only help your physical health, but also your mental health. Additionally, finding hobbies that you genuinely enjoy are a great way to work on your mental health. Mental Health America's slogan for 2026 Mental Health Awareness Month of "More Good Days, Together", reminds us that we are never alone. Take your alone time when you need it but ensure you are not isolating yourself from your community.
