Veteran's Day Celebration
Each year the JROTC/Leadership cadets of Wichita show our appreciation for our Veterans. This year’s Veteran’s Day Celebration takes place on 7 November at 1000hrs. All of the JROTC cadets in Wichita will gather at Century II and offer our thanks to the area’s Veterans. We will be leaving Truesdell around 0845hrs. The majority of Truesdell’s cadets will be attending this celebration. Each cadet will be issued a pass when they have turned in the necessary permission slips. They will use this pass to be excused from class and will present the pass to board the bus. Any cadet who is not in uniform will be left at Truesdell. We should be back at Truesdell by 1130 hrs, in time for lunch. Again, all cadets from Truesdell will be invited and if they return the permission slip and are in uniform, they will attend the ceremony.
